The OLIVER (‘O’ptimization of agricu’L’tural ‘I’nputs ‘V’ertical Int’E’gration in ‘R’ural economies) Operational Team was established in 2021 with the aim of promoting sustainable development in agriculture and the agri-food industry in Cyprus. The team actively contributes to addressing the challenges facing the rural economy while promoting innovation and biodiversity conservation. 

In this context, OLIVER has created a website where statistical data regarding agricultural production in Cyprus is provided. This data helps monitor trends in agricultural production and evaluate the performance of the agricultural economy in the country.

In collaboration with partners and companies such as Agrotech Innovations Ltd. and the Union of Cypriot Farmers, we aim to implement programs aimed at developing the primary production sector. Our goal is to promote innovation in agriculture, improve productivity, and develop sustainable practices.

Overall, OLIVER seeks to empower the agricultural community in Cyprus by promoting innovation, sustainable development, and the preservation of the natural environment.
